Michael Jackson’s family last night confirmed there WILL be a public memorial in tribute to the King of Pop.
But they dismissed reports his body will lie in state before burial at the star’s former home, the Neverland ranch.
A family spokesman said: “Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland.
“Plans are under way regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson and we will announce those plans shortly.”
Sources close to the family said Jacko could be buried in his drum-major outfit wearing a single white glove.
